Who we are

GrowMargin is a profit analysis tool for independent ecommerce sellers, built and operated by Piyush Kaushik(Developer). If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at piyush.kaushik02@gmail.com.

What data we collect

Account data: Your name, email address, and profile photo, supplied by the sign-in provider you choose.
Profile preferences: Business name, logo, and currency symbol, if you choose to set them in your account settings.
Saved analyses and connected-store data: Catalog data and assumptions you choose to save, plus an on-demand Shopify or Etsy catalog snapshot when you connect a store. Connected-store access tokens are stored encrypted on our server and are never returned to your browser.
Payment records: Your payment amount, currency, timestamp, and payment reference. We do not store card numbers or full payment details.
Usage analytics: Page views and product-funnel events, such as an audit upload or a CSV export. Our custom events do not include raw catalog rows, costs, prices, or your email address.

What we do not collect

We do not collect passwords — authentication is handled entirely by your Google account.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
We do not include raw catalog rows, costs, prices, or email addresses in our custom product-funnel analytics events.

How we use your data

To create and manage your account.
To store and retrieve your saved analyses across sessions.
To verify your payment and activate or maintain your access to GrowMargin.
To display your business name, logo, and currency in reports and exports, if set.
To operate a read-only store connection you start, and to provide the catalog snapshot it retrieves.
To understand whether core product flows work, using the analytics described above.

Third-party services

GrowMargin uses the following categories of third-party service providers to operate. Each has its own privacy policy:

Firebase — provides authentication and stores account, saved-analysis, and connected-store data.
Shopify and Etsy — provide the catalog data for a read-only connection you initiate, under the permissions you approve.
Razorpay and PayPal — process Web payments. Card and financial data is handled by the relevant processor, not by GrowMargin.
Vercel, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and Google Ads — host the application and measure site and conversion activity. Their technologies may process device, browser, or cookie data under their own privacy policies.

Data retention

Your account data, saved analyses, and connected-store data are stored for as long as your account exists. You can permanently delete your account from Settings; this removes your GrowMargin account and its associated app data. Payment processors may retain their own transaction records as required by their policies or applicable law.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To make a request, email us at piyush.kaushik02@gmail.com.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of GrowMargin after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
